It seems the more electrical load I have the higher my idle is. A better way to discribe it is the slower my drive by wire throttle is to return. If all accessories are off it idles about 650-700 rpm and the throttle returns normal. If the air is on the throttle only returns to 900 rpm when you get to a stop sign and if you sit long enough it will slowly drop to 700 in about 20 seconds. the other day I had the headlights the ac and the rear defoger on and when i reached the stop sign I was ildeing about 1050 for about 30 seconds till I got to abot 800 rpm. You can see the rpms jump up as it down shifts while you are slowing down for a stop.

I know this can't be normal. Does anyone else have this problem? Any mechanics seen this? I have an 07 off road edition if that matters.

My 06 does it occasionally as well. I think it's just the computer making sure the alternator is putting out enough to keep up with the load.
