This trouble code tells me there is a low input voltage to the maf sensor. Changed the maf yesterday to no avail car still runs rough after warming up:dunno: . It is the 3.0 DOHC engine. Any thoughts or suggestions on how to remedy this problem would be greatly appreciated. I'm pretty adept at fixing car engines except when it comes to all this electronic BS. I'm at a loss:wtf:

According to the service manual, the following are items you should check:
MAF sensor disconnected
MAF circuit open to PCM
VPWR open to MAF sensor
PWR GND open to MAF sensor
MAF RTN circuit open to PCM
MAF circuit shorted to GND
Intake air leak (near MAF sensor)
A closed throttle indication [throttle position (TP) sensor system]
Damaged MAF sensor
Damaged PCMHave you checked the reference voltage with respect to MAF ground to make sure it is what it should be? You'll want to do this with the MAF disconnected and again by backprobing with the MAF connected to make sure the MAF is not loading the reference line excessively.

Also, make sure that all the connections on the air intake are secure and you don't have a hose end rolled over or something.

Thanks for the welcome Rod.

Well we dropped it off at the Ford Dealer today:uhoh: . Just got a call on it wich it seems to be that a temp sensor is telling the computer to shut the engine down because it is overheating(won't turn on the cooling fans either so the car will overheat). $138.00 to remedy this:disappoin , so will see what happens. I'll keep you posted as to the outcome.
