2004 sienna le: power sliding door cable brokekdk786 07-21-2007, 11:51 PM My 2004 passenger side power sliding door cable broke and now toyota says that they will have to replace the whole power motor and cable as well as other parts to get it back working. The cost is crazy at over $2000. Realisticly all it needs is the broken cable replaced. I am pretty handy and wanted to know if anyone out there had the 04 to 07 sienna service repair manual or even can message me the diagrams that show how to take off the power sliding door and removing the motor etc...???? any help or advice will be appreciated!!! also if this happened to anyone else who has been successful at repairing this them selves than please let all of us know. thanks mek88 07-25-2007, 02:34 PM I also have the same problem on my 2004 XLE LTD, right-side-sliding door. I opened it by remote-key, and open as usual. Hoever, I was not able to close it. The motor was trying to close, however seems to me something from lower part got locked out. Please let me know if anyone has the diagram for it or know any place in Los Angeles who can fix it. Thanks, email: mek88@yahoo.com vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
