need help to fit a radio in clio ( R REG ), can anyone tell me what wires go were as the previous owners have cut the blocks of and removed the radio.

With the advent of harness adapters, hearing that somebody still has to cut the factory connections off to hook up an aftermarket unit almost makes you want to slap them silly.
Best thing I can advise is to see if you can get a copy of a wiring diagram for the radio leads from a dealer so you can hook up your new deck.
Or go to a wrecking yard and find a vehicle like yours and get the harness ends with enough wire coming out of them and splice it into your harness matching color for color of the wires.
If either is not possible then your only option is figuring out which wire is which, using a multimeter set on ohms or continuity you can easily find the body ground (NOTE: Disconnect the battery before using an ohm meter or you will blow the meter or it's fuse if you test a live wire! One wire of the meter to the body and the other on a wire with the meter reading 0 ohms or a beep if using the continuity checker, any reading above 0 ohms is a power or speaker lead), then with the multimeter set at DC volts with the black lead to the car body you can find the ignition switched (with the key on of course) and battery power leads as well as the the instrument lighting (With the headlights on) leads, it's the speaker wiring that will be the pain, with one lead of the multimeter long enough to reach the back of the car and the meter set to ohms or continuity though you can chase each speaker wire down, hopefully the speakers are at least marked + and - then you can label all the wires at the dash end as you figure out what wire is what.
Either way, if you do any of that, it is ideal to solder and shrink tube all connections, don't use those crimp connectors to join the wiring, they are too unreliable and usually pull apart easily.

Renault cars are not very popular here, so the info will be kind of limited. Have you tried the Renault forum on here ?
