95 honda civic wont startMykeDee 07-20-2007, 10:28 AM i was running errans all day, then after putting gas in my 95 civic, it wouldnt turn over to start again. the radio, lights and everything was working so its not the battery, or alternator. i pushed it off and got going again (so im thinking its not the clutch). i checked the starter and its good. anybody else had this problem? if so, what was the problem? id appreciate the help thank you AudioGuy93DelSol 07-21-2007, 02:06 AM Has it happened again since? nvrenough 07-27-2007, 05:22 PM Just because the lights and radio worked doesn't mean it isn't the battery. It takes a lot of amps to turn over an engine but it takes very few for the lights and the radio. If it is the battery and you don't get it replaced then you are overworking the alternator and it will go bad on you too. What sounds did the vehicle make when you tried starting it, did the lights dim, did you hear clicking, a little more info is needed in making a decision on where to start. Did you try getting it jump started and if so did that work, you said you roll started it so in my instances with my motorcycle it probably is the battery. Greenblurr93 07-30-2007, 11:29 AM yep, could be a bad battery. check your main relay... vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
