1994 Accord LX 4 door. Drivers window quit. Replaced the master switch assy. with new Honda part, still no work. Pulled door panel off, hot wired window motor, goes up and down OK. Wiring is fine, never been damaged. Fuses are all OK, all of the other windows work fine. What else could it be?? Any ideas are greatly appreciated!!

Each window has its own fuse. If the fuses are good, you need a meter to chase the voltage. Could be a bad connector or wire.

Thanks for the reply. I had checked all of the fuses, they are OK.. I have voltage coming out ot the switch when I activate it as well. This is where I am puzzled? The switch, which is new, and the motor itself are OK, what else could it be??

This sounds like a puzzle!!!

1.What voltage getting to the switch?

2. What voltage comming out of the switch?

If they are both 12 volt, try to hook a simple 12V light bulb.

If it lights all right the oly culprit should be the wire that goes from the swich to the motor.

Well, actually it appears to be the "Pulser" ,that is built into that particular motor, only fixed by replacing the entire motor assy. Right now, it is working. But I am planning on ordering a new one on Ebay to have on hand. I am not sure what the "Pulser" is, but the test I had for it from Mitchells, looks like that might be it.

Pulser????? The motor is essentially a DC motor that goes up or down based on the polarity determined by the switch. So, if you have voltage, then the problem is in the ground circuit from the switch. Tell us about the
Mitchell test. I have never heard about a test like this.
