Re: How to determine value of used vehicle to sellGLDANIEL 07-14-2007, 04:40 PM The heading says quick reply. Where is it that I enter my question? Anyway, I'll try here. I own a 2003 Jag XJ8 that I wish to trade in. It has the usual road rash and it has some dings in the flimsy bumbers. Should I take it in and fix all those things, getting the car to show room condition (for a used car) or should I just take it in to the dealer? Thanks in advance for the help. sickcallawayc12 07-15-2007, 01:49 PM The better condition its in, the more you'll get. And you almost always get more cash selling it private party rather than trading in to dealer. myronl 11-02-2007, 01:04 AM This might help you figure out the worth of a used car. It is a resource I recently started to help track ACTUAL prices people paid for their cars. Link removed by Moderator - unauthorized advertising Hope this helps!
