I need help. The spindle and nut on the front shocks are totally rusted and when i turn the bolt, the spindle turns with it. The hardest one is the driver-side shock bolt because the master brake cylinder lines are in the way so i cant even get in there try to bust the bolt loose only access is through the wheelwell :banghead:

I just have a small propane torch which i doubt would get hot enough to help. I sprayed it with PB Blaster for over 4 days, still nothing. I'm super lost here.....does anyone know of a way to get these off like without swearing, beating up stray alley cats or getting drunk thinking it will fix itself???

Thanks for anybody for the help :)

Remove the lower mount, extend shock, and then grab the metal piston shaft with vise grips. Easy on 4wd harder on 2wd inside the coil spring but if the front wheels are hanging as frame jacked up should have access.
