USGP - Who's NOT gonna be there?AudioGuy93DelSol 07-12-2007, 08:54 PM http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/motorsport/formula_one/6760617.stm Apparently all of us. Like we didn't all know it was coming but I still had an ounce of hope. Dyno247365 07-13-2007, 03:23 AM F*CK ECCLESTONE. I'm surprised he didn't say they might have it somewhere other then Indy though. DJ SlipStream 07-14-2007, 01:41 AM If there is one person to blame its Michelin and friends, and bernie of course. I had a feeling that it was done for after the 2005 race, it was just a matter of time really. Looks like i'll be headed up to Montreal if anything next year, it should be a fun experience since the drinking age is 18 up there :D AudioGuy93DelSol 07-14-2007, 02:35 AM I'm thinking about saving up and going to Silverstone. Montreal is my backup plan though. I have to see at lease one per year. freakray 07-17-2007, 08:11 AM If there is one person to blame its Michelin and friends, and bernie of course. Way to live in the past. It's got nothing to do with any of the manufacturers, teams or their sponsors, it does have everything to do with Ecclestone's greed and unreasonable demands. Looks at the facts, he wants a night GP so he told Melbourne if they wanted to host one it would be at night - Melbourne gave him the big 'no thank you' too. Ecclestone isn't interested in motorsports, he is interested in his bank account. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
