Heated Leatheryoungnwiaguy 07-12-2007, 11:08 AM It was a little chilly this morning on my way to work, so I thought I'd turn on the heated seats on low for a few minutes. There was one spot on the bottom left side of my back that go so hot. I put my hand back there and it was so hot it almost burned it. Now I see that there is a spot there where it looks like it got the leather too hot and made a small mark on the seat. What happened? any suggestions? richtazz 07-13-2007, 05:07 PM It sounds like the insulating material around the heat coils came apart and the coil is resting directly against the leather. youngnwiaguy 07-13-2007, 11:15 PM Hey, thanks for the reply, Thats kinda what I thought, but didn't know if thats ever happend to anyone else or how I should fix it. I was going to try taking the seat cover off this weekend and seeing if I can fix it. If you have any helpful tips on how to do that, by all means feel free to share.
