HELP!!!! I got me a aftermarket tach for my 99 tacoma. It doesnt have a tach on the instrument panel. anyway it shows in the diagram to connect the green wire to the distributor block's wiring harness in some way, im not sure which wire to clip it to. My truck has the 2.7 inline 4 cyl.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I can't really say without seeing the instructions. Also, is your truck even equipped with a distributer? It should have a coil pack distributer less system. If it does the tach needs to be compatible with the ignition system.
