i think some thing is wrong with my tranny in my 96 z34.
when i get on the gas lightly the car shifts fine bu if i get on the gas hard the car redlines and wont shift but if i let off it and press lightly it shifts fine. i really dont have any clue but i dont think that the tranny is bad it seems like a computer or vacum issue but all the vacum lines are attatched. and help is most appreciated

Check and see if your catalytic converter is in good shape. If it goes bad it can simulate tranny problems because the engine cannot breath. I am not sure if you vehicle has these but if you have transmission solenoid relay switches, one of them might have gone bad.
