I really like it. I know some of you will say that it's horrible, and that is what I said when I saw it for the first time.
But I saw it on the road and it's nice to me.
At least it's original and it doesn't seem like other cars !

Yes, I have it. Engine 3.0 V6, manual transmission, Privilege with full option, but without navigation. I've made 13500 km since october 2002.
But now I'm looking to replace 17' alloy original wheels with something better, 19' or 20' perhaps.
Any ideas ? Images ? Suppliers ?

You've an Avantime ? Cool ! V6 manual, that's not bad at all !!
Are you satisfacted with it ? What colour ?
Be carefull with the wheels, it could be unesthetic. You may choose a 19' from the new Espace, they are nice. But you'll cry when you'll have to change the tires :D
Welcome on this forum ! Where do you live in Slovenia ?

When I want to buy Avantime, there was only 4 available for immediate delivery: darkblue (almost black), champagne, green metallic, and blue metallic. I wasn't sure, but then I said: if Renault put the blue one at most of his catalogues, this must be it.
And I buy a blue one.
Satisfied ? Yes. And No. Before this cars, I have Espace 1998 and Mercedes A Class, full options (big sunroof, leather, premium sound...). I've sold Espace, but A class is still at home, my wife like it a lot.
Where's the problems with Avantime.
Not enough legroom at the back sit ! Even A class has more room backthere. But, it's a coupe, or what ?!
Otherwise, Avantime is really fast and very comfortable to drive. When I drive at the motorway, my average speed is always around 200 km/h !!! But you feel nothing. You can hear some wind, sometimes, and that is all. I can' hear any complaint's even from my wife, so smooth the ride is ! It's true, you need some practice (2 weeks) to get used to higher seating position, but that's all. I can tell you - forget Audi A6 Avant or BMW 5 Touring.
When I park my Avantime, there's always a lot of people around it. Some people like it, some don't, but everyone want to see it. Yes, it grabs attention, that's no doubt ! (not as as Ferrati, but anyway...).
Where I live ? In a small miners town (Trbovlje), app. 60 km from Ljubljana. It's not as nice town as people would like, but t's almost at the center of Slovenia, and only 1h 30 min (with Avantime) away from seaside (Adriatic Sea), only 1 hour 15 min from Italian border or 1 hour 30 min from Austria.
....so, do you have any links with extra equipement or tuning parts for my Avantime ?
:D :D

... also want to ask you: do you know any websites with Renault Forums.
I speak English and German, but (unfortunatelly) don't speak French.
Or any Avantime users club ?

The blue one is very nice.
Of course in an Espace or even an A Class you've more room, but there are 4 doors and they're not a coupé as you said !
The Avantime is very comfortable indeed. But I read that the built quality (inside) was not perfect. What do you think ?
For the Clubs : look on http://www.tiscali.de/ or http://www.yahoo.com to find some web sites. I personnally don't know site about Avantime.
But i know a good italian forum (if you speak Italian) : http://www.omniauto.it

Build Quality ?
Without complaints.
I hear that navigation system is very unpractical, but because I haven'tt navi system, I really don't know.
I can assure everyone, that build quality (not to mention the feeling) is really good. Still without any single complaint !
Just to repeat: when I decide to buy a new car, it tooks 3 weeks to make a decision. I went through Audi dealer (A6 Avant), BMW dealer (5 Touring), and finally, I arrive to Renault dealer. Without any thoughts, Avantime was the best deal. Outside and inside !!!
Otherwise, I could also say, that my Mercedes A class is really very worse in build quality. Anywhere !
...thanks for internet addresses. But, just to mention, I'm 'an old' internet user. I went through all Yahoo, Google, Alltheweb, Northernlight etc. sites, but still couldn't find any website.

You didn't find Renault forums ?..... there should be in England or Germany at least. Surprinsing. But for the Avantime, that's less surising because it's a new modell and it's not sols as much as a 206 for example !
I guess the Mercedes is not as good as the Renault, but the prices are not the same and the A Class is not the best Mercedes for built quality. Though it's of course a good car !

Hi - I'm thinking of buying an Avantime, but sometimes I need to carry a LOT of gear (I'm in a band). I'm wondering if the rear seats can be folded or removed? Can anyone advise?
Thanks
Rich
