View Full Version : 2 ESC's into 1 reciever? 2 ESC's into 1 reciever? NewyorkKopter 07-06-2007, 07:25 PM freakray 07-06-2007, 08:11 PM Yes, you should be able to. If you have a 2-channel radio though, one ESC will controlled by the steering channel and the other by the throttle channel. pre98zetec 07-07-2007, 12:32 AM you can but why. Just get a dual motor esc like a trx evx or the novak thats in the esavage. NewyorkKopter 07-07-2007, 02:14 PM ahh true; but the only reason why I ask is because I'm thinking about making a dual motor 4wd rc car and I want to keep the two esc and motors seperate.(which is why I don't want a dual motor esc) So would I be better off with a 3channel radio? pre98zetec 07-07-2007, 02:15 PM dont need a 3 channel. get a y plug for the ESC's so you can plug em both into 1 receiver. NewyorkKopter 07-07-2007, 02:17 PM hah that was fast, ooo wow I didn't even know they made Y-plugs for esc's. Would a local hobby shop carry them, or would I have to go online? pre98zetec 07-07-2007, 02:19 PM LHS should have them, They use them alot in airplanes. NewyorkKopter 07-07-2007, 02:20 PM perfect. thanks again Related Links Participate in thousands of discussions at AutomotiveForums.com! Registration is absolutely free. |
