I have a 1987 Chevy S-10 2.8L Blazer w/ auto trans.
I'm just wondering what the proper spec. for idle speed is at operating temperature in park? Presently it starts up cold and idles at 1500 RPM for a very short time and drops to 1150 RPM. It idles between 1050 and 1100RPM at EOT. There doesn't appear to be any vacuum leaks anywhere and all the gaskets are new from a recent rebuild.
Is this idle speed normal? It just seems a bit fast to me by a few hundred RPM's. I can't find any specs. for it in the Haynes manual.
If anyone might know it would really help me out.

Thanks in advance. :runaround:
