Hello folks,

I want to present you one of my latest drawings. I did neither do many of them in the past time nor did I visit this forum very often, because I had a lot of other things to concentrate on in the last weeks.

This is a Moto Guzzi V11 Sport bike, drawn with Prismacolor colored pencils. I startet with tracing the rough outline and the exhaust and then drawing the more detailed bike with color. Not perfect of course. The paint on the fuel tank is way too dark. When I finished scanning I noticed a few mistakes that I will fix, e.g. I didn't make the second exhaust pipe visible - but it should be :grinno:
It is the first motorcycle I have drawn yet. Approximate time six or seven hours. Now the picture:

(please excuse my English... hope you understand me anyway :) )

Now Comments and criticism, please! :icon16:

Hi there! It's a nice work! Try to use some pastel in your drws to put refletions on! Keep up the good work! Regards!:)

It looks pretty good.

Prismacolor makes a colorless blender that you could use to take away the grain of the paper. Or if you don't have access to one of those, just use white on the lighter parts of your bike. Sometimes white will 'cloud' your drawing, but just go back over it with your original color and that will 'liven' it up again. You'll find that will really smooth out your drawings. I learned that trick here on AF and am passing it on to you.

Thank you all for your comments on my drawing! :)

@FP GT: I am going to use some pastel chalks to smoothen the reflections of my current work-in-progress picture, this time a car. Thanks for this advice. :wink:
@sketches_of_b: I do not have that blender, so I used some white and re-colored it. I think it works very well, the bike looks much smoother now (just have a look at the black handlebar cover, picture is below as you see). Thank you a lot for this Hint! :thumbsup:
@Dx_king91 & dobbo1991: Thank you guys, I'm glad you like it! It's motivating to read commendations.

Now the updated picture, I increased the brightness by 10% using Photoshop:

(Sorry, imageshack is causing some problems at the moment. I will upload the pic as soon as possible)

//EDIT: Eventually here it is:
