ZC 1.6 DOHC 2.25 pipe from catback with bomz exhaust and chikara headers :flamer: :rocket: :monkeypis :monkeypis :ylsuper :help: :help: :help: :help: :help: :help: :eshooter: :eshooter: Tominos 11-03-2002, 12:43 AM homemadeturbo.com has some info and links for what you're looking for. i have done the homemade setup you are talking about, u need an hf manifold, adapter plate, turbo, oil lines, coolant lines, downpipe, various fittings, ecu hack(check valves or missing link), bov is an option, intercooler is an option, charge piping, clamps. that pretty much sums it up. but word of advice, in my experience with the homemade kit, don't do it, unless you absolutely know what you are doing, or else you will have a poorly designed kit, with lots of turbo lag, if the turbo is too big, and headaches. but if you know somewhat what to do, go for it by all means, but for the beginner, just stick with a greddy kit and you'll be more happy. good luck, please keep us up to date on what u want to do. Julio_bustamante 11-03-2002, 01:45 AM i think i can pull it off ..i dont really want to pay a whole lot of money if i can get the parts step by step..you know i want to take my time and do it right...besides i love working on my car ..unless shit goes wrong then im a fucking pain to deal with..however i have looked into it and im not going with a bog turbo..just something to give mzc a most needed upgrade...im sure i can pull it off i just needed some feedback and what not..i plan on using a BOV and an intercooler aswell and i plan on taking my time and going to the junk yards here in wilmington california and others if needed.....so on a scale form 1-10 10 being the highest...how do you rate the difficulty on the turbo set up? Tominos 11-03-2002, 11:43 AM probably an 8, you will need to custom everything. it wasn't actually that hard though. and if you want to do it, don't let me stop you. what kind of turbo are you going with? Julio_bustamante 11-03-2002, 02:01 PM gonna use a t-25 turbo from a 2nd gen eclipse im gonna go and by eveything piece by pice before actually installing it ..making sure i have evrything..its gonna take a while but you guys will hear about it when im done.... vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
