P0102 sets when the MAF sensor is outside of the expected parameters. Voltage is low. Could be the car was started with the sensor disconnected, the snorkel has a hole in it, or has a leak at the clamp (loose), or a hose is off of the snorkel.

Lastly, the MAF could be bad or dirty.

The P0172 could be a symptom of the first code, although usually its a lean code, not a rich code. Basically its telling you the computer had to correct the fuel trim further than parameters allow (25% plus or minus). A bad MAF, or leak at the snorkel can definitely set fuel trim codes.

If you want a shotgun suggestion, after verifying the snorkel between the MAF and the intake manifold is air tight with no leaks, replace the MAF....but they aren't cheap
