3 weeks ago my mechanic replaced what he called resistors to fix my fan setting not working in positions 1, 2 and 3 (4 and 5 were fine). Now this morning I turned it on high to clear the windshield and it stopped working altogether.
I am assuming it is probably just the resistor pack (I think thats what its called) needs to be replaced?
I know I also have a A/C compressor that is on the way out.....would it be possible that this compressor finally gave out and that is why my fan is not blowing anymore?
Thanks,
Tony
P.S. I need a new mechanic.

I would start by checking your fuse for the blower motor.
Sounds more like you may have a blower motor that may be drawing high amps on the high setting and blowing the fuse.
A bad A/C compressor shouldn't cause the blower motor to cease operating, it just won't blow cold air.
