gday how r ya. im from australia and i own a honda integra type s (acura rsx type s in america), im looking to buy a an ecu for the car to increase performance and feul efficiency. im looking at various brands such as unichip, haltech, autronics, motec and chip torque. i was just wondering wat do u think is the best option wether it be a the piggy back or the ems and some rough prices on these products. will this give my engine a great performance boost? and do u reccomend it?
p.s. i hear autronics smc is cheaper than motec and just as efficient?

I think the stock engine setup is pretty much tuned out by Honda. You would get more by doing intake, header, exhaust and even then you might see 20hp max. A new ECU isnt really necessary unless youve made significant changes to the engine.
