Detailed the hell out of the Trans Am.
Clay bar, wash down with a 50/50 mix of alcohol and water.
Did a light cut with some Menzerna using the PorterCable. Wiped off.
Then polished with Prima Amigo using a polishing pad on the PorterCable. Wiped off.
Then two coats of that Victorias Concours wax.
After clay bar and wipe down....
Working on the cut...
Only thing that gets me is the orangepeel of the factory paint.
That and the car is actually driven, so the front shows it.
What do you think??

Damn... Wow... I wish I had a paintjob that was like a mirror... :(
Looks so damn good man. So when you gonna sell it to me? lol

Ohhhhhhhhh, from the title I thought you had a 4 day 1/4 mile run :icon16:
Seriously though, the car looks wicked as always. I wish the paint job on my camaro could look half as good, and that I had your patience. :worshippy

Looks great! I love the WS6's. Got any tips for n00bs to the porter cable?

Move somewhat slow. Make sure you work in the product until it is transparent. You should be able to see it on the paint, but also see the color of the car pretty easily.

That is amazing. I will have to bring my car to you so I can get it detailed. Have you ever thought about starting a detailing business? You do great looking work.

My roommate actually does some detailing on the side.
I wouldn't be able to do it. Time would be WAY too much of an issue.

Roommate snapped these pics last Friday. One day after I finished.
No wonder a friend told me it looked outstanding going down the road Friday afternoon.

I've never heard of the 50/50 alcohol/H2O mix. Whats the thought process behind it if you don't mind me asking.
