speed limitermusclecarfan6 06-21-2007, 12:39 PM I have a 95 neon with a SOHC engine. How do I get rid of the speed limiter. das2123 06-21-2007, 09:57 PM Buy a 95 ACR PCM (no speed limiter) or unplug the speed sensor (but then you can't tell how fast you are going). musclecarfan6 06-21-2007, 10:25 PM what are the numbers on an acr computer. On the car or the unit. Bear 06-22-2007, 01:54 PM Actually the MOPAR PCM limits at 148 MPH, the ACR/RT PCM limits at 130 MPH, and the AF/X PCM has no limit. Stock PCM is limited to 118 MPH. musclecarfan6 06-24-2007, 01:37 PM What are the numbers for a AF/X pcm. Where can I get a mopor pcm. Bear 06-24-2007, 10:31 PM The MOAPR performance PCM MAY still be abvailiable from a dealer, if not then try Neons.org, Modern Performance, EBay. The AF/X came in two versions, street and strip with the strip version offering a bit more power, the down side was you had to provide them with your PCM in oder to buy theirs. I will dig some data on on these two products and post tomorrow. Bear 06-25-2007, 08:32 AM I do not have figures for the SOHC, but for the DOHC, the MOPAR PCM produces 138.6 HP@6500 RPM/the AF/X street 141.8@6500 nd the stock ACR 131.2@7000 RPM (these are dynomometer readings), do not confuse them with the sales literature readings as these compensate for any power loss through the clutch and drive axles). Best 1/4 mile readings were: Stock ACR=15.21@92.11 MPH MOPAR =15.04@93.33 AF/X=14.93@93.81. You can buy these products at howellautomtive, modernperformance, maybe EBay and you might find a used one at neons.org. Good luck musclecarfan6 06-25-2007, 11:10 PM thank you very much. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
