would a ecm computer from a 1996 chevy lumina work in my 1995 monte? they both have 3.1 ,air,everything is the same except my monte has a takometer.

96 would be obd2 while 95 would most likely be obd1. You will probably have to get one for your car and have it flashed by a gm dealer.
