2002 Suburban grease fitting replaceable?sleber 06-20-2007, 01:55 PM I just finished lubing my wife's 2002 suburban and one of the grease fittings is leaking grease back out. It is the top one right next to rotor. I did notice that quite a few did appear to be replaceable but this one did not (it did not have an area to put a wrench). Is there a way to replace this fitting? If so how do I do it and where can I buy a replacement? If not what do I do? vehicle only has about 41K miles. Thanks MT-2500 06-21-2007, 09:40 AM I just finished lubing my wife's 2002 suburban and one of the grease fittings is leaking grease back out. It is the top one right next to rotor. If you have the room you may be able to drill and tap and replace with a screw in fitting. But It may not hurt much. I would just leave it for a couple of grease jobs and see if it gets any better. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
