I need some info. I am trying to replace my diff seal but I can't get to it. I have followed everything in the chilton manuel and when I got to where it says to pull it out, it doesn't come out. I gotta get 6this thing fixed quick like. Help would be muchly appreciated.

Check this link.

Replacing the pinion seal requires some special tools and skill.
If you can not find where it goes and need it done fast it might be better to let a repair shop do it for you.

Or if you can get the tools needed and a good repair manual we can try to help you with it.
First thing what rear end.
Is the yoke lose.
How many miles on it?
Is the rear end making any noise?
Always check for what may have made the seal leak.
How low is the rear end on grease?
Is the vent stopped up?

It's the front diff. I managed to beat it out but now I'm not sure how to get the seal out of the cover.

Give us some answers to the questions I asked in uppr post?
You going to need proper tools and know how to also set the preload.
