The engine of my skyline recently did me the discourtesy of blowing up, taking with it the water pump (1st one ever to go in this country- pioneer!!:banghead: ), the head gasket, the drive belt and one of the ignition coils. Most things are now sorted, except for the ignition coil!! I've tracked down water pumps from Japan, and can't find an ignition coil that isn't priced like it's a full car! Does anyone know where I would be able to locate an ignition coil and bring my anguish to an end!!!

The stock R34 ignition coils are a pain in the butt. They are common for overheating and failing. I doubt you will find one secondhand that will last much longer. Everyone I know with an R34 RB25 motor just upgrades to the splitfire igntion coil packs aand gets better fuel economy with them as well.

What exactly went wrong with your old coil? Does it have burn marks around its base?
