ShadowWulf2K 06-18-2007, 12:55 PM How do you double-clutch? ....lulz No, the Cien was only a concept. It never saw production. carguy92 06-18-2007, 03:21 PM How do you double-clutch? ....lulz No, the Cien was only a concept. It never saw production. The purpose of the double-clutch technique is to match the rotational speed of the input shaft being driven by the engine (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Engine) to the rotational speed of the gear you wish to select. thanks for the cien thing. i heard that it indeed made production, but i didn't believe it. Hudson 06-18-2007, 03:56 PM does anyone know if the cadillac cien is in production? The Cadillac Cien is not in production. The next-generation Chevrolet Corvette is expected to go mid-engined, so the replacement for the XLR may be similar in concept than the Cien. I have not heard anything specific to the Cien going into production, but my above comment is purely my speculation based on information I know to be true about the Corvette.
