My 2003 GCL has no hitch option at all..can I install an aftermarket trailer hitch , do I have to cut or drill thru the plastic bumper underneath?..can anyone send a diagram of hitch installation? thanxn

They include the hitch for your 2003 JGC, and also have the reer fascia bezel to dress up the bumper where the hitch goes. I haven't installed this model, but based on the photos on their web site, it looks like an original installation (MOPAR parts). They say on the site, "This bezel designed to finish the look of the hitch and give the appearance of a factory installation."

i have a class II or III u-haul hitch on mine. if you find one that's model specific it will bolt right up and if it's for a jeep without the cutout in the bumper it'll clear it just fine. it's quite literally a bolt on. no drilling or tapping or anything all the hardware is already there.
