I have a 2000 dodge durango v8 and the reverse stopped working all of a sudden and I think my transmission shifted up one spot because when i put it in reverse it sounds like it is on neutral and when I put on neutral it goes foward.Does anybody know anything i should try or is the transmission broke??? please help!!!!

have you checked your linkage? it could have become loose and shifts one spot different from what you see.
