since our engines get extremely hot would it be a good idea to upgrade to a dual 12in. flex-a-lite electric fan?

I would say its not worth the money.. the only reason i would get it is if my turbos wont fit with the stock fans

engine bay gets hot on TT models. Between the turbos and the fact our combustion chamber is designed to run hotter than most engines, however, coolant temps are about as normal as they come. Upgrading the fans will only affect the coolant temps. Unless you have a big front mount intercooler, there is no reason to upgrade the fans.

word. the thing i would do if i was worried about engine bay temps is maybe a vented hood... or one of the ones with the big cowl or something.
