Chevy Suburban 1990danim3000 06-14-2007, 09:08 PM Where is the location of the crankshaft sensor in the 1990 chevy suburban? silicon212 06-14-2007, 09:23 PM Where is the location of the crankshaft sensor in the 1990 chevy suburban? Does the 1990 Suburban have a crankshaft position sensor? I don't think so. What engine is in it, 5.0 or 5.7 V8? 7.4 V8? 4.3 V6? What is the issue you are having? These engines all had distributors at the time. Blue Bowtie 06-15-2007, 09:46 AM The SandMan is right. A 1990 should have had a conventional HEI distributor, EST system, and triggering via the pickup coil in the distributor. Are you reading some sort of error code indicating a CKP signal problem? csamford 07-07-2007, 06:54 PM It should not have a crank shaft position sensor but it will have a knock sensor, which it similar, whats the problem? vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
