Has anyone had any trouble with the new diesel fuel affecting their cummins engine. My truck has only 18,000 miles and quit on me 2 weeks ago. It is under warranty but dealership is giving me the run around. Has been in shop for 2 weeks. Any info. would be helpful. Thanks.

Do they say what's wrong with it?

They said that they thought it might be the seals. I'm assuming in the injector pump. I don't think they are too sure.

Might be time to take it to a different dealer if those guys dont know what it is after two weeks. Not all Chrysler dealers have good diesel techs.

After driving about 250 miles 2 weeks ago, we made a stop and afterward it would only run at highway speeds but still sputtered.

Some fuel injector troubles are showing up. At $450 apiece, no dealer wants to misinterpret a diagnosis and end up eating a set of injectors.
