I have a 2003 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo and just recently my A/C started acting up. It seems like the knob is malfunctioning. My A/C starts out cold and as I keep driving it will start to get warm, if I jiggle the knob between warm and cold and put it back to cold it will get cold for a little while again. Sometimes it happens more than others. Any suggestions?

I have read other forums where someone said they had a similar problem and the found out it was a bad control head. Anyone know what this is? Details would help...

It's the knob you're jiggling.

ya.. i would definitely take it to the factory and ask them if they think its the controls.. they went bad on my old jeep but it was an easy fix.. you can find these knobs and controls on ebay for real cheap...

however, i also have a problem.. i have the limited Jeep Grand Cherokee (1999) and my heater doesn't work for the passenger side of the vehicle.. only the driver side.. each side has separate controls and i'm unsure what would cause this? any ideas?
