I have a 98 Kia Sephia, 1.8L, 5speed. When I start to accelerate the car spits and sputters real bad. Once I gain some speed it will smooth out and run fine, it runs fine while iddling. I have changed the fuel filter and plugs. What else could it be?

any thoughts on this....anyone????
