question about downpipe

Yup.

Since theres no cat, the o2 sensor down there will freak out.

Some sort of a "stage" (ie s1,s2,etc.) will eliminate the light.

Yes that downpipe will...but it will sound very raspy(honda like) while cruising and decelerating.

i was wondering, when i rev the engine and it hits the rev limiter the exhaust pops ones real loud than it pops like 3 other times....is this normal???

You shouldn't be hitting the rev limiter...not exactly healthy for your car.

but why does it pop like that after the loud pop?....im asking because my friend has a srt 4 too but his only pops once and thats it....

Every car is different...it's the sound of the spark being cut so you won't over rev. Just remember it's not a healthy thing to sit there and hit the rev limiter, let alone in neutral.

around how much horsepower will changing the downpipe and the exhaust make?? sorry for all the questions...

Well, things like the exhaust and dp are linear. Meaning...you will make more power with it the more mods you have. On a stock srt4 you would only have minimal gains...4-5hp but with a nice amount of mods...you could see a nice 10-15hp increase.

but its also a good starting mod...

im ordering a sts with booger bushings.....because my shifter is all messed up....everytime i race i miss 2nd gear cuz the bushings are all messed up....

hey i met this one guy wit a srt 4.. and i asked wat exhaust he had and he said stock one, he said that he just took one of the resonators off and put a straight pipe...and i thought it sounded nice.....i think ima do that instead.:grinyes:

How Do You Install The Shifter Bushings??

Well the one's on the shifter inside the car are easy.
Just take off the center console to expose the shifter....pop the cables off the shifter and take out the little black bushings and install the new ones. Hardest part is getting those little suckers back in there(the new bushings).
Under the hood is another story. I haven't done any of those because they look like a pita to get to. If you can get to them it should be as easy as popping the old bushing off the cable and popping the new ones back in.

Yeah, I lightly tinted the stock headlights...since I didn't want to pay almost 200 for black housing ones. And yes, it's possible to just tint the stock taillights. That's what I did to my tails before the ones I have currently. Just used the nightshades from modern. It's pretty easy to do.

Thoes lights look sweet if you get a chance shoot some close up pics of them.
