i found a 92 NA 300zx for $5000. it has new paint(black now, used to be white), tires, struts, exhaust, well taken care of. has a few small dents, lots of knicks and scratches on the front bumper. a few small stains on the interior. here's the catch, 145,000 miles. i drove it and it drives really nice. you wouldn't know it had that many miles on it. anyway, is $5000 a good price? or should i wait it out and find one with lower miles?

If it's really in good condition, I'd say that sounds great. The mileage isn't that big a concern, if it really has been taken care of well. The thing to do though, is to get it checked over by a Nissan mechanic. Make sure that there really isn't anything wrong with it. Also, checking carfax.com for a title history on any cars you're ever thinking about buying is a very good idea. But yeah, assuming everything is good on the car, that sounds like a nice deal!

i bought a 300zx. well not yet, it's mine, i'm going saturday to pay for it and bring it home.
92 NA, charcoal exterior, dark grey interior. new clutch, tires, battery, timing chain, ect, ect, ect. Lady driven, babied, all records. Perfect inside and out except for a few tiny door dings on the passengers side. 8300. Kinda steep price, but I was willing to pay the price for one that perfect.

got it today, i'll post pics as soon as i can get some. i'm glad i got it over the 240sx...the Z is really nice!
