I Have A 1996 Ram 3500 Diesel With A Automatic Transmission, I Have No 1st Gear And No Reverse. Also There Is Transmission Fluid Leaking Where The Tranny Meets The Motor. Any Answers Will Help Thankyou

I have 3 dodge rams over here! anyways this one is simple. pull the tranny off. get a SEAL PULLER and a new SEAL then Pull the seal off the front of the transmission with a SEAL PULLER and then put the new seal on the front of the transmission. *you dont have to take the trans apart*. Put the tranny back on and try it again.

be careful when you put the tranny back on. if you try to force it on with the bolts it will crack the transmission housing.

the transmission is very very heavy. It took 3 very strong guys over here to do it without a tranny jack so this job might require a shop
