I have recently been having problems with the front end of my 1996 dodge ram 1500. When i drive over a bump or even little dips in the road there is a clunk in the front end. :banghead: It feels like it is comming from somewhere right in front of my feet. any ideas???

did you ever go under it to look for broken parts? or loose parts or parts missing bolts?

clunking? i would look at the bushings on the front. and look at the struts and coilsprings too. wiggle things around to make sure they arent clunking. maybe the brake caliphers

my moms Ram was making a wierd noise once and i found that the steering arm was missing a bolt. after i corrected the bolt she said her steering was working much better
