Nice find. hurstg01 06-07-2007, 03:48 PM I wouldn't like to guess how much that cost... They'll be CNC'd from billet, a more expensive but lighter than the original forging. I believe the lighter CNC pieces weren't used on the original F1 when first built as new metal-alloys are around now that werent back then So in your answer, many many of these :2cents: ;) pimp349 06-16-2007, 08:44 PM ... many many of these :2cents: ;) thanks for the pics PatrickT82 06-17-2007, 03:59 PM Where is 040 now? I havent seen it on the Ring anymore for more then 1,5 years! hurstg01 06-17-2007, 04:09 PM It was seen as recently as 2 weeks ago (or less) on the m25 hurstg01 01-06-2008, 04:27 AM dragging this thread back up, Flemke has stated recently that "The factory have, however, done quite a bit of stuff on the car which either has been type-approved for another car (LM or GT), or is not subject to that approval regime. The latter would be mostly cosmetic things, but all together those things have been fairly substantial." So, any guesses as to what this cosmetic 'stuff' could be? he has also stated "Then we have the interior. I have changed mine already quite a bit". Anyone have any pics of these changes, apart from the steering wheel and the blue racing harness? Peloton25 01-06-2008, 09:31 AM he has also stated "Then we have the interior. I know that he swapped many of the typically plastic pieces in the interior compartment with carbon ones. If you look at the two side pods that surround the instrument cluster you can see a portion of this. >8^) ER hurstg01 01-06-2008, 09:38 AM I know that he swapped many of the typically plastic pieces in the interior compartment with carbon ones. I remember the carbon door panel now. for that. Peloton25 01-06-2008, 05:55 PM I always thought the roof section was always painted? The section where the door pull mounts is typically covered in suede/alcantara like the rest of the interior panels above the beltline.
