Help! L200 Won't Stay Running..

my wife has a 2002 or 2000 l200..
she went to start it yesterday and it was completely dead.
tried jumping it and it turned over, but died after about 2-3 seconds.
took the battery out and got it checked. it came back replace battery..
bought new battery & replaced it the next day. the car started and ran for about 3-4 seconds and died again.. everytime it starts, it runs for about 3-4 seconds and dies..
is it the fuel filter, fuel pump, alternator?
has ne1 else had this kind of problem?
any help asap would be greatly appreciated.

sounds like a fuel pump issue, or wiring for the pump. Could also possibly be the mass air flow sensor.
