Driver 3?

I have heard rumors about a possible driver 3?

Truth/Bullshit? and when is it comin out if it is true?

I don't know, but I loved Driver 1 and 2, so I've been waiting to hear news on 3, too. I really can't remember hearing anything about it... A quick search came up with this... http://www.gamers.com/news/1199456/

Don't know, but I have been hearing things too. If it comes out, maybe it will have real cars this time:D

i know a place where you could've heard it. after you beat the game you find yourself stuck watching the credits. after everything is done, some writing comes up that says driver 3, coming in february 2003. so obviusly they're running a little late. unless the new driver 3 is the getaway. basically the same plot. just different people (no tanner or people like that) plus it takes place in britan or england or wherever thy said it took place. not chicago, NY, LA, las vegas, san fran, miami, rio and havana.

Speaking of Getaway....Has anyone tried it? It looks pretty good.

FYI, in the March '03 issue of Electronic Gaming Monthly, Driver 3 is the cover story. Lots of beautiful screenshots. It looks like it'll be pretty cool, albeit much different than GTA and the Getaway. That's okay, because I got into Driver way before them anyway. ;)

out of gta and getaway it always seemd to have the more ''realistic'' handling. :flash:

i heard Driver 3 IS getaway. If you've seen it on TV, they say "from the makers of Driver". When i did a search, it brought up "Driver 3/Getaway"

The Getaway is not Driver 3. Driver 3 will be coming out somtime next year. The dates been put back so many times its not even funny anymore.

In teh latest issue of Game Informer, they said that Driver 3 was scheduled for a Spring release next year. :D

Driver 3 is coming out sometime in early 2004. I can't wait. I loved the previous two games, and I think it'll be a great alternative to GTA. I just heard in a neoseeker article that they are coming out with a short film that was done by Ridley Scott before the game comes out. Hey, sorry for jumpin in on this thread so late, but I just joined the forums and wanted to throw my two cents in here... The first episode of the short film is out already and there's alot of good info about the game on the Atari website... I've been following it for a little while and as a Driver 2 player I'm happy to say it looks pretty amazing and it's FINALLY coming to more than one console!! anyway... here's the link to the website: check it out

I can't wait for this game. Now, they are putting new features up on the website every Thursday which is really cool. Hopefully, it will be as good as it looks.

Yeah Driver 3 looks really cool. It's going to be like GTA with more realistic crash physics. I just hopes its as great as it looks too.

Atari has started putting new info and screenshots/trailers on the website every Thursday which is really cool. It gives me something to do until I wait for the game to come out at the begginning of June. The new film they put up last week is really cool.

Dude....the thursday updates are great!...There's finally a car list up on the site...i've been waiting for that for awhile now!... new episode of the movie too...pretty cool stuff...only 76 days left till it's mine!

They've put a couple great trailers up on the website recently. If the game is at all like the stuff they out up on the site, I'll be more than happy.

If you ask me, The getaway SUCKS! it is impossible to play and the controlls are all jacked up! its a waste of money.

Driver 3 is also good i have played mostly driver 3 which is really a good edition.
