hey ya'll -- I was wondering what years (06-00?) (cx/dx?) i would be able to take a hood and bumpers from and have it fit my 97 cx hatchback - just bought it, and the bumpers are pretty banged up, and the hood is a bit bent...

thanks for any help!!!

(is there a way/site that could tell me which parts from what cars/years/models will fit my particular civic?, not necessarily just the body, but interior as well?)

I have a 97 civic Dx hatch and have actually looked into replacing my front bumper to a 99-00 civic. From what I have investigated,if you want to replace your front bumper and hood w/ out any other parts you need to take 'em off a 96-98 civic for a perfect match. If you want to convert it to a 99-00 civic front-end you need a hood front bumper, headlights and fenders.the cheapest I have found all the parts came out to 450$.Hopefully that might help you.

96-98. Most sites will list what years a particular part fits in the description. They have pretty good prices on autopartspeople.com.

would the front end of a 99 sedan fit on a 97 hatch?

I think you need to use the headlights, bumper, fenders and hood to make that work.

I think you need to use the headlights, bumper, fenders and hood to make that work.

and I have a guy who'll sell me the whole front end from his 99 sedan, so getting the parts is no issue -- I just dont' want to buy them and find out a sedan front end won't fit a hatch.... ;-\
