I just replaced the starter on my 97 rodio. started fine with the header pipe and the egzaust pipe disconected but when i get it all back together "egzaust & cross member"i get a whining from starter area like it is ingaged all the time. also some times i dont even have to turn the key over it will start from run position. could it maybe be the ignition switch?

Something is shorted or wires wrong. Can't say what unless I myself am looking at it.
