ok...in the next 2 weeks i'm buying an 84-87 toyota corrola. i have no idea what model to buy tho. i was looking at the sr5 coupes. are there any other models that are worth my while and how hared would it be to get the ae86 style from initail d? if anyone can tell me anything i'd really apreciate it. is the sr5 the way to go?

sr5 has the 4ac, which has about 70hp and 85lbs/ft of torque. not a stellar performer. gt-s comes w/ 4age w/ about 115hp. both sr5 and gt-s come in copue and hatchback forms.

go find a gts if you can, most people don't like the sr5 for the low hp and slow speed.
but from your other thread, you were saying you want to get an engine swap, so getting a sr5 would be better if you're upgrading to anything that runs on carbs, like a 2TG.
