I would like a little more horeses under my hood or better performance. Is there ANY types of programmers or chips or anything i can do to my motor to make it more powerful. I'd like to know if there is any intake system for it so i could get a couple of horses :feedback:
Thanks Dusty

You might be pleasantly suprised after a good tune-up replacing plugs, wires, distributor cap, air filter, fuel filter, O2 sensor and an oil change w/semi synthetic oil. How many miles on this truck?

the motors got about 65k and the body has about 170k. When i got it the motor was blown so we took a 318 out of a same year model in it. I'm drivin it a lot more lately and its gettin better. I can pull out of my driveway wait til it gets about 25 and floor-it and its 65 before it hits its last gear. it'll get to 70 in about 3/16 of a mile. Its got new plugs and fuel filter i'll look into the other stuff. What about fuel economy.
Thanks Dusty

Fuel milage is easy...don't go over the speed limit and 55mph max.
With fuel so high priced, I drive the speed limit and or 55mph on fast roads going to & from work so I can spend more time pleasure driving my truck without running up a big fuel bill....works too.

Too bad mines a gas if it was a diesel i'd try to get a Bully Dog or the Banks like yours. 55 thats just unreal for me i drive the speed limit (or faster:nono: ). 318's were good on gas from what i hear i'm just puttin it through a second break-in period:naughty: .
thanks

The Comp fueling module timing program and the Banks turbo mods helps fuel milage along with the new injector nozzles...but there's a learning curve with not "calling on it" which does make it use alot of fuel.

Go get a DODGE VIPER 8L motor and try to mount it up

yes there are many things to do first thing make her breath better and fart alot louder if you know what i mean . then plugs , wires , MSD distributor , ignition control box, new coil , RUN 93 OCTANE IN IT ALL THE TIME NEVER ANYTHING ELSE . dodges ping on 87 octane witch helps in power loss . if you wanna spend some good money get a cam and valvetrain upgrade
