Catalytic Converter Stolen- driving without a good idea?Chad33e 05-30-2007, 10:29 PM Greetings all, this is my first post on this board. I have a question for you, my 2001 frontier crew cab recently had the catalytic converter stolen. I am going to get it replaced asap, but I need to drive it tomorrow. I know that driving the car too much could potentially damage some other things. any idea if it is safe to drive without it for a day or two? Thanks in advance, Toolman5523 06-01-2007, 07:35 PM Dude, what kind of neighborhood do you live in, where someone would steal a cat con.? That can be a serious job to undertake. But to answer your question, yes you can drive it without any serious damage. Unless you think making the sky melt a problem. Hahahahah. Just don't wait too long. jkeaton224 06-21-2007, 12:11 PM bet it sounds pretty good w/o a cat..... vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
