02 GC Keyless Entry Remoteswedish 05-28-2007, 06:38 PM Quick question for a friend: He lost his remote, and needs to replace. Can a generic be picked up cheap, and programmed at home, or is that a dealer only situation (doesn't seem like it, but I don't know for sure)? If the former, how to program? Bob D. 05-30-2007, 02:01 AM Dealership - key and programming around $80.00 bucks. I've seen some advertised as universal, maybe on ebay, but don't know anything about them. jonzi216 06-16-2007, 03:39 AM You can program if you have 2 remotes, but for just one it has to be either dealership or locksmith..I'd go with locksmith since their a little cheeper. goo luk - I got one off ebay for about 15 bucks and searched for a locksmith to program for 55.
