young lady driver needs you opinionevilkeeble 05-26-2007, 01:12 AM :aus:I was driving home from work when another driver entered an intersection with me still in it to avoid an accident i swirved and mounted the curb. this caused my front tyre to blow out... I managed to change the tyre fine (woohoo) but now the car slightly shakes and veers to the left. could this mean i need a wheel balance or is it likely to be more serious. Please share somick 05-26-2007, 12:14 PM Shaking probably means incorrect balancing. But otherwise the car should go strait. The same thing has happened to my son and he got his rock and pinion damaged pretty bad. You might have got bent rods. Somebody needs to croll under the car and visually inspect it for bent/leaking parts. Good luck, Sam evilkeeble 05-26-2007, 07:47 PM thank you for your assistance evilkeeble 05-28-2007, 03:44 AM as it turned out no real damage was done i needed a new tyre but replaced both front tyres and keeped the best of the old as my new spare, i also needed a 4 wheel balance and alignment... not too painful. was also told that in some time i will need some work down with front suspension and also the bushes but all good for now.
