maintenance required

what does the maintenance required light mean. of course it means maintenance required but i just had my oil changed 2 weeks ago, what other maintenence would cause this light to come on? thanks

This is just a reminder. It comes on by the mileage you have driven (for most of the cars).

On the majority of Hondas to turn it off:

1. Turn your vehicle off
2. Hold your trip meter button and
3. Turn your key to on but do not start the car (vehicle NOT RUNNING!)
Watch your dashes disappear.

P.S. On my son's 95 Accord in order to reset it, you have to insert a key into a hole in the dash board.
