Where to lube rear portion of chassis?george_k 05-25-2007, 12:44 AM I have a 2005 Blazer 2dr. Rather than goto a garage I'd like to attempt to lube the chassis myself (hard to get away from work during the week) I found pictures of where to lube the front portion of the chassis on the web but couldn't find anything similar for the rear. What needs to be lubed in the rear, how many spots are there? Thanks in advance, -George K. MT-2500 05-25-2007, 06:57 PM I have a 2005 Blazer 2dr. But always check the rear end oil level and for rear end oil seeps. If any Cardan double U joints setups on it always grease the center ball with a needle grease gun. And when greasing it is a good time to check the tire air pressures. Good luck MT ericn1300 05-25-2007, 08:36 PM when lubing the chassis don't forget to lube the door hinges, latches and hood hinges and latch, something most people and shops overlook these days. i had to change the door pins on the bravada i bought at 188,000 because the previous owner didn't and the drivers door had serious sag problems. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
